Isuzu has updated the V-Cross with mild visual tweaks and new features on offer.
Isuzu V-Cross facelift has been launched in India. The updated pickup truck is available for Rs. 15.51 lakhs for the Standard variant and Rs. 17.03 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom Mumbai) for the range topping Z variant. Isuzu has updated the exterior and interior with mild visual changes and new features.
The V-Cross facelift is offered with the same pricing of the outgoing model for a limited period of time. Isuzu is offering two new colours with the facelift – Sapphire Blue and Silky Pearl White. The front profile is updated with chrome highlights along with Bi-LED headlamps.
The side profile reveals new 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels which makes the pickup much more appealing than before. The V-Cross also gets roof-rails and new shark-fin antenna. The side-step design has been revised and there is an all-black B-pillar too. The rear profile includes updated chrome bumper and LED tail lamps.
The interiors are now full-black in both the variants. The perforated faux leather seats are now more contoured for better support. The instrument cluster has been updated with 3D Design Electroluminescent Meter and Gear Shift Indicator.
THE V-Cross comes with steering mounted audio controls and a 7-inch touchscreen audio system with USB, DVD, AUX, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity.
The centre console of the V-Cross facelift gets piano black garnish. The second row now houses USB charging port for the convenience of rear passengers. One of the highlights is the new keyless entry with smart key and push button start/stop system.
Some of the safety features include seat-belt with pre-tensioner & load limiter, speed sensitive auto door lock, co-driver seat belt reminder, HSA (Hill Start Assist) and HDC (Hill Descent Control).
Powering the Isuzu V-Cross is the same 2.5-litre diesel engine that produces 134 BHP and 320 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is available with 4WD (shift-on-fly) system for off-road duties.
