The Kia Seltos is getting a rejigged equipment list in April.
The Kia Seltos was introduced to the Indian market in August last year. It was the first product from Kia and was developed for the Indian market. Within no time, it became a hot seller in the country churning out 14-15,000 units a month.
With the launch of its sibling, the new generation Hyundai Creta, Kia is preparing to face some serious heat. The Seltos is about to get equipped with more features in the mid-sped and top-spec variants by April.
With the addition of features, the Kia Seltos is also expected to get a price hike from next month. Currently, the Seltos is priced from Rs. 9.89 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 16.29 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom).
We can expect a marginal increase in price and a few new additions in the features list. The the mid-spec HTK Plus trim will get USB port for the rear passengers while the top-spec trim will get dual exhaust tips among few more features.
The Seltos is currently offered with three engine options – 1.5-litre diesel, 1.5-litre petrol and 1.4-litre turbo petrol. There’s a range of fancy features on offer including electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, front parking sensors, 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, 8-speaker Bose audio system, 360 degree camera, blind view monitor, etc.
