Mahindra teases XUV 7XO again as pre-bookings open on December 15
Mahindra has released another teaser of the upcoming XUV 7XO, confirming new design details and announcing the pre-booking window ahead of its market debut. The refreshed SUV, essentially a facelift of the current XUV700, will be open for reservations from 15 December at 12 PM for a booking amount of Rs. 21,000. The launch is scheduled for 5 January 2026.
The latest teaser showcases several exterior updates. These include dual-pod projector headlamps, dynamic turn indicators, dual-tone alloy wheels, and blacked-out ORVMs, signalling a more contemporary styling direction. A new maroon exterior colour will also be added to the palette. Earlier teasers had already revealed a redesigned grille, updated LED DRLs and revised LED tail-lamps, elements that appear to draw inspiration from the recently launched XEV 9S electric SUV.
Mahindra has confirmed that the XUV 7XO will continue with petrol and diesel engine options, paired with both manual and automatic gearboxes. More specific information, including variant lineup and detailed feature additions, is expected to be disclosed when bookings officially begin.
The XUV 7XO marks an important update in Mahindra’s SUV portfolio, arriving at a time when competition in the midsize and full-size SUV segments continues to intensify.
