Rebadged Toyota Innova HyCross For Maruti – Patent Designs Leak

The revised grille with Maruti Suzuki styling

Maruti Toyota Innova HyCross patent designs leak ahead of launch in July

Maruti Suzuki is all set to introduce the rebadged version of Toyota Innova HyCross next month. Technically this will be the first Toyota product to be rebadged for Maruti Suzuki. Until now it has been otherwise with Maruti Vitara Brezza and Maruti Baleno. The Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder were developed in collaboration.

The patent designs of the upcoming MPV have been leaked. While the headlight and tail light designs look ditto, the grille reveals the Maruti Suzuki styling for the new MPV.

It will get a completely new grille which looks very similar to the Maruti family of cars. It will get chrome outlines and twin-slat grille running across the nose with the Suzuki logo sitting in the middle. The chrome strip extends towards the headlight.

It will be interesting to see the changes in the production car. However, don’t expect any other radical styling changes. Only soft parts like the grille and bumpers will get styling tweaks. We believe the alloy wheels will remain the same as well.

Maruti Suzuki will be allocated with only 50 units of the Innova HyCross per month. Pricing is expected to be in the same ballpark. Launch is scheduled for next month (July 2023). What are your thoughts on the Maruti Innova HyCross? Join our Facebook Community and let us know!
