Nissan India has commenced soft marketing of the Micra with the start of an initiative called “exposure marketing” to build brand awareness and seek insights from prospective buyers on its small car. The Japanese automaker has erected special pavilions at high footfall areas like shopping malls in different cities across the country. The pavilions have interactive LCD display kiosks and shoppers at the mall are encouraged to use these and get a view of the Micra. The pre-launch marketing activity started in Pune and Bangalore on 5th May and will continue till December 2010. The Nissan Micra will be launched in July this year.
