A Quick Glimpse At The 2015 Honda Jazz In Pictures

The 2015 Honda Jazz shares its underpinnings with the new generation City sedan and will be posing a tough fight against the Hyundai Elite i20 in the segment.

The 2015 Jazz shares its design traits with its predecessor and is instantly recognizable

While the previous generation Jazz made a silent exit from the Indian market owing to poor sales, Honda is all set to launch the new generation of the Jazz in the country on 8th July 2015 with much fanfare, as the newest contender in the premium hatchback segment. Promising both petrol and diesel engine options this time round, the all-new Jazz shares its underpinnings with the fourth generation City sedan and will come with a host of new features as well as manual and automatic (petrol only) transmission options with the latter also getting paddle shifters.

The Honda Jazz gets almost all the features of the City but skips out on keyless GO and push button start. The dashboard is almost identical to the sedan but the Jazz gets a cooled cupholder (right in front of the right most AC vent) and all black interiors. Engine options are the same as the Amaze compact sedan, the Jazz drawing power from a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The Jazz will become the most frugal hatchback in the country when launched, it also boasts of class leading interior room.

Honda will be producing the third generation Jazz at its new Tapukara facility in Rajasthan and the hatchback will be offered in seven colour options. With more local components going into the model, pricing will be a lot more competitive on the premium hatchback when it hits the showrooms next month. Expected to be the biggest threat to the extremely popular Hyundai Elite i20 in the segment, here is a quick pictorial glimpse at the all new Honda Jazz.
