Skoda expands Kylaq lineup with new variants and confirms Sportline launch
Alongside the reveal of the updated Kushaq, Skoda has expanded the Kylaq compact SUV range in India with two additional variants – Classic+ at the lower end and Prestige+ at the top. The company also confirmed that a new Sportline trim will join the line-up by September, while mid variants now receive more equipment.
With these additions, the Kylaq now spans six trims, up from four previously – Classic, Classic+, Signature, Signature+, Prestige and Prestige+.
Variant Line-Up and Pricing
Below are the 2026 Kylaq variant prices (ex-showroom, in lakh):
| Variant | MT | AT |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | 7.59 | — |
| Classic+ (NEW) | 8.25 | 9.25 |

Classic+ Variant Details
The new Classic+ variant broadens the Kylaq’s accessibility as it becomes the entry point for automatic buyers, priced at Rs. 9.25 lakh. It continues with the 115 HP, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and is available in both manual and automatic forms – something the base Classic does not offer.
Compared to the Classic, Classic+ adds:
- 16-inch alloy wheels
- Electric sunroof
- Auto-dimming IRVM
- Automatic wipers
- Cruise control
- Steering-mounted controls
Pricing differences make the AT now Rs. 85,000/- cheaper to access compared to earlier.
Signature & Signature+ Updates
The mid-spec Signature and Signature+ trims gain features previously reserved for higher variants. Additions include:
- Sunroof
- Rear wiper
- Auto wipers
- Paddle shifters (AT only)
As a result, pricing has increased slightly. Signature variants now sit between Rs. 9.43 – 10.43 lakhs, while Signature+ ranges from Rs. 10.77–11.77 lakhs.
Sportline & Prestige+ Positioning
Skoda plans to introduce a Sportline trim by September, aimed at buyers looking for cosmetic enhancements. No mechanical updates are expected and details on design differentiation are awaited.
The new Prestige+ becomes the range-topper, offering additional equipment over the Prestige. To create separation, the Prestige variant loses its 6-way powered front seats and sees a Rs. 24,000/- price drop. The Kylaq’s price ceiling remains unchanged at Rs. 12.99 lakhs, which now corresponds to the Prestige+.
