Skoda India has added two more engine options to the Superb. The new Superb was intially launched with 1.8L petrol engine. Skoda India today launched the new Superb in diesel and V6 4X4 petrol versions. The Skoda Superb Diesel 2.0TDI PD comes with a 6-speed automatic DSG gearbox, with manual Tiptronic gear changing. The 2.0 litre engine equipped with the Pumpe Düse (PD) technology has an inbuilt turbocharger with a high pressure direct injection system. The Superb 3.6L V6 4X4 has largest powerplant fitted into a modern-era Skoda. Producing 260bhp of pwoer and 350Nm of torque between 2500-5000 rpm makes the car accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 6.6 seconds (a new record for a Skoda production car) and onto a top speed of 250kmph. It is equipped with a DSG gearbox as a standard and delivers power to the road via a fourth-generation Haldex clutch variable four-wheel drive system.

The Skoda Superb is available in the following colours – Black Magic, Rosso Brunello, Cappuccino Beige, Diamond Silver & Candy White, Platinum Grey (Exclusive for the V6).
