Skoda Vision IN Spied Front
It looks to have quite good road presence

The Skoda Vision IN has been spied while it was on test runs in Mumbai as the carmaker ramps up testing before its official unveil early next year.

Although completely camouflaged, the car does look to be production-ready. Spotted by MotorBeamer Om Jage, the development mule rides on alloy wheels and seems to have production-spec lighting units and the multi-slat grille is present too.

Despite it being a compact SUV, the Skoda Vision IN spied images show that the car has good presence. Also, it sits quite well, for there is not a huge gap between the arches.

At the back, the test mule shows that the bumper is sizeable on the car, the boot lid is heavily creased, while the roof spoiler also has a stop light integrated onto it.

Skoda will reveal the name of the compact SUV next month and we hope it is a catchy one, for it is a very important product for the firm.

The compact SUV will come with plenty of latest kit like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with latest connectivity tech, a comparatively larger digital instrument cluster display, auto AC, sunroof, among other features.

Underpinned by the MQB A0 IN modular platform, enough safety features will be offered with the car and being a product from Skoda, it should ride and handle well too.

There will be 2 turbo petrol engine options – a 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre unit – for customers to choose from, while, in all, there will be 3 gearbox options as well.

Expect the car to get launched in the market soon after its global premiere takes place in March next year.
