Suzuki ACross Specs
It is a rebadged Toyota RAV4 with different styling on offer

Suzuki ACross is the company’s first product out of the Suzuki Toyota partnership. It is a rebadged Toyota RAV4 with new styling tweaks to differentiate the two. Toyota is supplying the ACross to Suzuki under the collaborative business agreement.

The ACross comes with new soft parts while the body panels of the SUV remain unchanged. It gets a sleeker new set of headlights along with a new grille and a revised bumper. The side profile looks exactly the same apart from the new set of alloys in the Suzuki. The rear profile is identical, devoid of any changes apart from the logo.

The interior gets minor revisions. It comes with a 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It has an all-black theme with red contrast stitching.

Some of the safety features include Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), etc. It is equipped with millimetre-wave radar and monocular camera.

It is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol hybrid engine. The petrol motor produces 173 HP with two electric motors and a floor-mounted 18.1 kWh battery pack. The electric motor produces 180 HP at the front and 54 HP at the rear. The combined output figure is 302 HP.

It has an EV mode range of 75 km. There is an E-Four electronic all-wheel-drive system with variable torque distribution.

The ACross will be launched in the European markets soon. It is not headed to India since CKD imports are not feasible for Maruti Suzuki and high localisation for this Suzuki badged Toyota SUV is unlikely.
