Suzuki Burgman Street Electric Side
The size of the battery pack is not known at the moment

Suzuki Burgman electric scooter has been spotted testing once again out on public roads. It was only spied a couple of weeks ago.

Looking identical to the petrol-powered 125cc model, the electric Burgman carries forward the butch styling as it is, with the only cosmetic difference being the White and Blue colour that the electric version sports.

When it comes to the mechanical bits, we can, once again, see that the rear shock is mounted on the right side as opposed to being situated on the left side in the regular model.

Also, the exhaust system is gone and we can see another component of the electric drive system in its place.

The scooter has a short mudguard and also sports a tyre hugger, while the model’s badges have been blanked off.

Expect Suzuki Burgman Street electric scooter to come with the latest instrument console with Bluetooth-enabled smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, all-LED lighting and the usual scooter paraphernalia.

When it comes to the performance, the electric scooter should have equal shove to that of its sibling powered by liquified dead fish and plants and offer at least 80 km range.

Expect Suzuki to launch the model in the market by 2022 or before to take on the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, among others. The bikemaker should look at pricing the EV on a par, if not lower than, its rivals.
