Tata Motors’ Safari and Harrier Kaziranga Edition models were spotted at a dealership
Tata has dispatched the Kaziranga Edition of the Harrier and Safari to its dealerships and here are the images of the models right before their introduction.
These images were taken at the brand’s dealership in Mangaluru and come at a time when Tata Motors has seriously kicked off the teaser campaign for its Kaziranga edition models.
Inspired by the famed one-horned rhinoceros, found aplenty at the Kaziranga National Park in Assam, the special edition Harrier and Safari (and the Nexon and Punch too) get Meteor Bronze body colour and black roof.
The Tata Harrier Kaziranga edition and that of the Safari also feature black rhinoceros badges on the front fenders, and blacked exterior trim and wheels.
Stepping inside, people would notice sill plates with the word “Kaziranga” engraved in them, wood trim on the dashboard and premium dual tone interior upholstery.
Tata has already announced that the Punch Kaziranga edition will be auctioned at the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament, with the proceeds set to go to aid the conservation efforts of the Kaziranga National Park.
It is likely that the Kaziranga editions of the Harrier, Safari and Nexon (which are likely to be based on the top variants of their respective model range) have been conceived for the same purpose.
Mechanically, the Kaziranga edition Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari will be identical to the regular models. More details about the cars will arrive in time.
