The Triumph Street Scrambler Sandstorm Edition has been launched with a price tag of Rs. 9.65 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).

Triumph will produce only 775 units of the motorcycle for the world and the bike will come with a custom Matt Storm Grey paint scheme, premium accessories and a personalised certificate of authenticity.

Revealed in April, the limited edition motorcycle sports a Matt Storm Grey front mudguard, headlight grille, Ironstone accents on the tank which has knee pads and an aluminium sump guard.

In addition, the 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler Sandstorm Edition also sports a tail tidy accessory, which incorporates a compact LED tail light and number plate light, as standard.

Otherwise, the motorcycle is very similar to the 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler, that was also revealed this past month.

Thus, it comes with brushed aluminium finish for the headlight brackets, throttle body finishers and heel guards and aluminium number board on the side panel with embossed Street Scrambler logo.

In addition, the 2021 Street Scrambler Sandstorm edition also comes with front fork gaiters, “bear trap” mid-position foot pegs, high level twin exhaust, and wire-spoked wheels with black hubs and rims.

The scrambler motorcycle is powered by a 900cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine that makes 65 PS at 7250 RPM and 80 Nm of torque at 3250 RPM. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox that works with a torque-assist clutch.

Long-travel suspension is the norm in scramblers and for the price, Triumph Street Scrambler Sandstorm edition gets customers 41 mm front forks (120 mm travel) and twin rear shocks with adjustable pre-load (120 mm travel).

Riding on 19-inch front wheel (100/90-section tyre) and a 17-inch rear rim (150/70-section tyre), the limited edition model comes with a single 310 mm disc with Brembo 4-piston front caliper at the front and a 255 mm disc clamped by Nissin 2-piston caliper in the back.

Switchable ABS and switchable traction control are on offer with the motorcycle that also comes with 3 riding modes (Rain, Road and Off-Road).
