Triumph Thruxton 400 To Launch On August 6, Features Retro Cafe Racer Styling
Triumph teased the launch of the Thruxton 400, which enthusiasts recently spotted during a shoot. The brand will add this model as the fifth addition to its 400cc motorcycle lineup. Triumph has scheduled the launch on August 6.
Styling
The Thruxton 400 features a retro racer-inspired semi-fairing, resembling its larger Thruxton siblings. Bar-end mirrors and a sporty rear-seat cowl further enhance its classic cafe racer styling on the Thruxton 400. These elements create a distinctive and stylish retro appearance for the motorcycle.
Engine
The bike will use a 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 39.5 HP and 37.5 NM of torque. It pairs the engine with a six-speed gearbox for smooth and responsive performance. Tweaking the final drive ratio may improve its sportier riding dynamics.
Features & Pricing
We anticipate features such as LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, and a semi-digital instrument console, similar to the Speed 400. Traction control will likely be included for added safety on varied terrains. Triumph may price the retro cafe racer around Rs. 2.70 Lakh (ex-showroom).
