Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition launch tomorrow
Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition teased as the special edition is all set to go on sale tomorrow (2nd November). The German carmaker has revealed the badge of the limited edition car.
Few months back Volkswagen announced a bunch of updates for their lineup which included Virtus and Taigun GT Edge Limited Collection in Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Steel Grey. VW launched these special editions gradually over a period of time. They also announced the Trail Edition back then and finally it is going on sale.
As the name suggests, the Trail edition is a rugged version of the Taigun with accessories that make it look more robust. It will get new body graphics, black roof, black door garnish, black ORVMs with red accents, puddle lamps, black 16-inch alloys, Trail badges, sporty aluminium pedals, functional roof rails, etc.
The limited edition model is expected to be available in multiple colour options, the one teased here is finished in Candy White. This edition is likely to be based on the range topping trims of the Taigun.
It will be powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine producing 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Available with a 6-speed manual transmission and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Currently, the Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Limited Collection is available in the price range of Rs. 16.79 lakhs to Rs. 19.45 lakhs (ex-showroom). We can expect the Trail edition to be priced around the same ballpark.
