Mahindra has launched car leasing schemes in the Indian market. The company will initially offer the KUV100 and XUV500 on lease.
Mahindra has started offering monthly lease rentals options for buyers in India. As of now, the Mumbai-based automaker is offering lease options on the KUV100 and XUV500 with monthly rates starting at Rs. 13,499/- for the KUV100 and Rs. 32,999/- for the XUV500. Models like the TUV300, Scorpio and Marazzo will be included in the scheme later on.
The company has stated that the lease scheme offers customers very low or zero down payment and it also provides a zero risk on resale value. The monthly rental is inclusive of all maintenance costs. The lease offer also includes road-side assistance, insurance, accidental repairs, 24 hours replacement vehicles, etc. Mahindra has partnered with Orix and ALD Automotive for this scheme.
Customers can return their vehicles to Mahindra once the lease period is over and they will also get the option of upgrading their vehicles. Mahindra will offer the leasing scheme in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore in the initial phase and in the next phase the company will expand to 19 more cities.
