The front of the Ertiga has a lot of similarities with the Honda Mobilio

Suzuki has finally lifted the veils off the 2015 Ertiga facelift and there are a lot of changes that have been incorporated in to the vehicle. The styling witnesses a huge change while the interiors have minor improvements. Many utility and practical features have been added and the engine has also been tweaked. Let us have a detailed look at the MPV. The front of the facelifted Ertiga has loads of chrome smacked on it. The front bumper sees some inspiration from the Honda Mobilio’s design. The side profile remains unchanged and the alloy wheels get a slight redesign.

The rear of the Suzuki Ertiga gets additional chrome along with extra reflectors fitted on the tail gate. The interiors are almost similar to the outgoing model but the MPV now gets a new audio system. Suzuki has added new features like electrically-folding ORVMs, airbags for most variants, charging socket in second row and power windows with auto-up function. The vehicle now gets third row seats with 50:50 split functionality which was a much-needed feature. Rest all remains the same and the Ertiga continues to remain a strong vehicle in its segment with all the practicality and ease of ownership.

The 2015 Suzuki Ertiga comes with the same powertrains as before. The Indonesian model gets the same 1.4-litre K-Series petrol engine but its power output has been reduced from 94 PS at 6000 RPM to 92 PS at 6000 RPM and this is done to increase fuel efficiency by a slight margin. The Indian Ertiga will also get the same changes and the 1.3-litre MJD diesel engine will also be on offer. The MPV will come with a 5-speed manual transmission while a 4-speed automatic gearbox will be offered for the petrol model. Maruti Suzuki will launch the Ertiga facelift in India by October 2015.
