Suzuki has come up with a new DL250 concept bike at the CIMA Motor Show in China. Along with the Suzuki GSX250R, the Japanese bike maker showcased this 250cc concept of a smaller capacity adventure touring motorcycle. It is basically the Suzuki V-Strom 250 when it will be revealed in its production guise.

The Suzuki DL250 Concept is 2150 mm long, 790 mm wide and 1305 mm tall. In terms of styling, it comes with a beafy and muscular adventure bike styling with long travel suspension. It comes with a wheelbase of 1430 mm and boasts a minimum ground clearance of 160 mm along with a seat height of 780 mm.

Powering the Suzuki DL250 Concept is a 248cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that is borrowed from the Suzuki GSX250R that produces a peak power of 24.67 BHP at 8000 RPM and peak torque of 23.4 Nm at 6500 RPM. However, the fuel tank capacity of 17-litres is more compared to the GSX250R.

The concept version comes with 17-inch alloy wheels at the both ends shod with 140 mm and 110 mm rear and front tyres respectively. It is also equipped with ABS. The V-Strom 250 is highly unlikely to be launched in India as of now. However, Suzuki should consider entering the premium quarter litre space in India with this bike.
