Hero has launched the 2017 Glamour and it will be available in both, carburetted and fuel injected variants.

The 2017 Hero Glamour has been launched and the company has already started dispatching the new models of the 125cc segment leader to its dealerships across India. Deliveries also have begun at some selected cities. Prices start at Rs. 59,280/- for the carburetted variant and Rs 69,908/- for the fuel injected variant (ex-showroom, Mumbai). With the i3S technology, the 2017 Hero Glamour carb sees an improvement of 3% in mileage while the FI variant is more frugal by 7%. The company has hiked the prices of the BS4 version by Rs. 1100/-.

Looks wise, the bike looks fresh. There is a newly designed bikini fairing, fuel tank with tank scoops, and new alloy wheels. In addition to the above, it also gets AHO. At the heart of the bike, is the BS4 compliant, 124.7cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine belts out 11.4 HP of power and 11 Nm of torque. This comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

The bike retains the telescopic forks and the twin rear shocks. Braking duties are via an optional disc at the front (for the fuel injected variant the disc comes standard) and drum brakes at the rear. The new Glamour gets wider rear tyres for added stability.

The bike comes with Hero’s start stop technology, i3S, and is available in four dual-tone shades – Black with Blue, Black with Red, Blazing Red, Black with Grey. The Glamour will lock its horns against the Bajaj Pulsar 135 and Honda Shine 125.
