The 2017 Honda Activa 125 now comes with a BS-IV compatible engine and it also gets AHO. Honda has also introduced a new trim for the Activa 125, the new trim comes with alloy wheels and drum brakes.

Honda has made the new Activa 125 feature rich, the scooter now gets new LED position lamps at the front. The scooter now also gets a mobile charging socket as well as a front hook which might come in handy to load some groceries. The Combi-Braking feature is standard on all the models of the Active 125. Honda has also added a new matte rust metallic shade to their Activa 125 lineup.

The engine has been retuned a bit to produce more torque. The Activa 125 comes with the Honda’s trusted 125cc HET motor. The powerplant produces 8.52 BHP of power at 6500 RPM and 10.54 Nm of torque (up from 10.12 Nm) at 5000 RPM. The new engine helps in providing better pickup which will come in very handy in city riding conditions.

The Honda Activa 125 is now available in 5 colour schemes they are – Pearl Amazing White, Midnight Blue Metallic, Black, Rebel Red Metallic and Matte Crust Metallic is the new colour option which is available in the new model.

Honda has priced the Activa 125 aggressively to match its competitors, the pricing for the Activa 125 starts from Rs. 56,954/ for the Standard variant, Rs. 58,900/- for the alloy wheel with drum brakes variant and Rs. 61,362/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the alloy wheel with disc brake variant. The scooter competes against the Suzuki Access 125 and the Vespa range of scooters.
