Hero MotoCorp has finally revealed the price of the Xtreme 200R motorcycle in India. The 200cc bike retails at Rs. 88,000/- (ex-showroom, Guwahati) and is the most affordable 200cc motorcycle on sale in the country. However, for now, the company has only updated the prices of the eight North-Eastern states on its official website.

The 2018 Hero Xtreme 200R comes powered by a 199.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which puts out 18.1 HP of power and 17.1 Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension setup comprises of front telescopic forks and a rear monoshock unit while disc brakes at either end take care of braking duties. A single-channel ABS is offered as standard. The bike also comes with a balancer shaft to reduce engine vibrations.

Other features on offer are eyebrow-shaped LED pilot lamps, LED tail-lamp and a semi-analogue and digital instrument console. The Xtreme 200R is offered in 5 dual-tone paint schemes – Panther Black with Cool Silver, Panther Black with Red, Sports Red, Techno Blue and Charcoal Grey with Orange. The Xtreme 200R made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo and was unveiled for the Indian market earlier this year.
