KTM is going to replace the Duke 690 with the new Duke 70 and it is focused mainly for the European market. The bike uses a twin-cylinder engine and currently does not have any direct competition. The upcoming Benelli TNT 750 will be a direct competitor for the Duke 790 when launched.

The KTM Duke 790 has now been spotted in the final stages of testing. The bike gets an all LED headlamp unit which looks more like the one on the upcoming KTM Duke 390. The bike also looks quite sharp and the sporty design elements are very appealing.

The bodywork and the riding position from the images show that the bike is physically small and focused on riding. The bike has taken some styling cues from the prototype that was displayed earlier. It sports a new exhaust and new LED tail lamps. The Duke 790 will be launched by the end of 2017 and will be added to KTM’s 2018 line-up. The bike might not be launched for the Indian market immediately though.
