The Vespa, Aprilia scooters now get updated with CBS and ABS

Piaggio India has updated its entire range of scooters with CBS and ABS technology. The update comes in line with the country’s latest safety norms for two-wheelers. The CBS and ABS on offer claims to ensure enhanced braking offering a great riding experience.

The incorporation of ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) allows vehicle braking without the chances of slipping, providing greater control for the rider and enhancing the effective braking. Similarly, CBS (Combined Braking System) allows equal distribution of brake forces, increasing the stability of the vehicle. The company claims that its products were already compliant with ABS in the previous year. However, they are launching the products now to fit into the general demand.

Currently, Piaggio’s scooter lineup in India includes the Vespa scooter, offered in both 125cc and 150cc variants and the Aprilia SR 150, Aprilia SR 150 RACE and Aprilia SR 125. The 125cc variants of the scooters will be available with CBS and the 150cc offerings get the ABS safety net. The company is also offering PayTM benefits of Rs. 6000/-, as a part of the introductory offer.
