The 2020 BMW X1 has been launched in India and it is priced from Rs. 35.90 – 42.90 lakhs.
The 2020 BMW X1 facelift has been launched in the Indian market. The SUV is BS6 compliant and it is offered with 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The BMW X1 LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) gets some changes to the exteriors and a few feature additions too.
On the outside, the 2020 BMW X1 gets a bigger kidney grille, LED headlights & fog lamps, LED tail lights and tweaked bumpers. The vehicle also gets new wheels. BMW is offering the updated X1 with three new colour options – Storm Bay, Misano Blue and Sunset Orange.
The cabin of the BMW X1 continues with a similar layout and gets features like a standard panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, carbon particulated cabin filter, electric adjustment for both the front seats, memory seat function for the driver, and a 40:20:40 split rear seat. The X1 has a boot capacity of 500-1550-litres.
The BMW X1 gets ConnectedDrive features like an 8.8-inch infotainment display with iDrive, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, Park Distance Control, and a rear view camera. Safety features include six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, DSC with DTC, CBC, side impact protection, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The 2.0-litre petrol engine churns out 192 HP and 280 Nm with 0-100 km/hr coming up in 7.7 seconds. This engine is mated to a 7-speed Steptronic gearbox. The 2.0-litre diesel engine delivers 190 HP and 400 Nm, and 0-100 km/hr comes up in 7.9 seconds. The diesel engine gets an 8-speed Steptronic gearbox. The BMW X1 gets driving modes like ECO PRO, Comfort and Sport. The vehicle also gets a Launch Control function. The X1 now comes equipped with a new suspension setup too.
