Honda will make tweaks to the engine to offer more power

The 2020 Honda CBR250RR is scheduled for its world premier in mid July this year and will be launched in some international markets soon after. We hope Honda considers the bike for India but it is unlikely.

The new CBR250RR comes with an aggressive design language. The bike looks sharp and sporty having tricolour paint job along with golden wheels and forks making it look premium.

Powering the current model is a 249cc parallel-twin, 8-valve, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that produces 38 PS of power at 12,500 RPM and 23 Nm of torque at 11,000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

With the new CBR250RR, the Japanese bike maker is redesigning the piston of the engine to extract more power. The updated bike will get 3 PS more, taking it to 41 PS.

The 2020 Honda CBR250RR will also get some new features including smart key system with keyless ignition. New instrument cluster is expected to offer smartphone connectivity via bluetooth along with more connectivity features.
