2020 Tata Nexon Facelift Spied
The Nexon facelift takes quite a few design cues from the Harrier

A spy image of the updated Tata Nexon has surfaced revealing the car’s new design. Amidst all the camouflage, it is evident that the compact SUV gets a new front bumper and a new bonnet as well. Meanwhile, some design cues even seem to be picked up from the Harrier, like a slim grille and fog lamp clusters.

The Tata Nexon facelift will get new alloys and revised rear styling. All these features are expected to find their way to the Nexon electric as well which is now part of the company’s new electric vehicle line-up. The interior might feature a Bosch-sourced all-digital instrument cluster along with some other bells and whistles to keep up with the competition.

Under the hood, the new Tata Nexon will get BS6-compliant versions of the current 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine. It will continue offering the same 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT gearbox options. The new version is expected to comply with the latest pedestrian protection norms that come into effect from October. It is safe to expect a premium of around Rs. 50,0000/- on the new model which currently has a starting price of Rs. 6.62 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
