The 2020 TVS Apache BS6 is expected to be launched in the next few months.

The 2020 TVS Apache 200 will get a slew of features along with a BS6 engine

An image of the 2020 TVS Apache 200 has surfed online, moreover, test units have been spotted testing as well. There will be a substantial bump up in price, the current model’s price starts at Rs. 98,000/- (ex-showroom Delhi).

All this is being done to meet the stringent BS6 emission norms. Cosmetically, everything remains the same on the 2020 TVS Apache 200, but the front is slightly revised with a sharp and fierce looking full LED headlight and LED DRLs (the current bike uses LEDs for the pilot lamps). All the design cues owe it to the TVS Draken X21 concept that was revealed at 2014 Auto Expo. There is going to be an introduction of a new wheel design along with two new colours. Speculation also say it will receive an upgraded instrument cluster with Bluetooth functionality (the NTorq already has it).

Performance figures, more or less, are going to be unaffected, the current Apache 200 sits at 21 PS of power and 18.1 Nm of torque. Actual figures could vary and will be known for sure only when the bike is launched.

As the deadline is coming closer, all the companies are bucking up to launch new models with new emission standards and TVS certainly doesn’t want to be behind in the pack. Expect it to hit the roads within a month or two, near the festive season. Till then, keep your hopes high!
