2021 Aprilia RS 125
The 125cc bikes now come with updated bodywork inspired by the RS 660

Aprilia has unveiled the 2021 model year RS 125 and Tuono 125 motorcycles with a design refresh and Euro 5-compliant engine.

Now, both 125cc bikes from the Noale-based firm sport the new styling theme first seen on the RS 660 middleweight supersport motorcycle. The same design was carried forward to the 2021 RSV4 and Tuono V4 as well.

However, one cannot help but notice the striking resemblance that the 2021 Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 have to the SXR 160 and SXR 125 maxi-scooters due to the headlight cluster. In addition, the digital instrument gauge has also been borrowed from the scooters.

Of course, both motorcycles, despite coming with their own distinguishable design, do share many components. This includes the 124cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder motor that puts out 15.2 HP at 10,750 RPM.

In addition, they now come with a wider rear tyre and a dual-channel ABS setup that the manufacturer says has been ‘improved’. The suspension has been left untouched though.

While prices of the bikes will be announced shortly, Aprilia does seem to have no intention of launching them in India for now. But, the RS 660 and Tuono 660 will be launched here this year.
