Benelli has launched the BS6-compliant 2021 Leoncino 500 with a price tag of Rs. 4,59,900/- (ex-showroom, India), today.

The Italian bike manufacturer says the Leoncino 500 is the most affordable parallel-twin scrambler on sale in the nation at present.

Sporting the same design as the BS4-compliant model, the 2021 Leoncino 500 features LED lighting all-round, a full digital instrument cluster, a simple fuel tank and the unique “Lion of Pesaro” ornament on the front fender.

While the motorcycle is available 2 colours – Steel Grey and Leoncino Red – the 2021 Benelli Leoncino 500 price for the fancier shade is Rs. 4,69,900/-.

A twin-cylinder 500cc motor powers the motorcycle and it produces a maximum of 47.5 PS at 8500 RPM and 46 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels with 120-section rubber at the front and 160-section tyre at the rear, the Leoncino 500 has 50 mm USD forks upfront and an adjustable monoshock at the rear.

To slow down the bike, there are dual 320 mm discs at the front with radially-mounted 4-piston brake callipers and a single 260 mm disc at the rear with a single-piston floating calliper, while switchable ABS is there as well.
