2021 Ducati Diavel 1260 Price Is Rs. 18.49 Lakhs

Ducati has launched the 2021 Diavel 1260 for the price of Rs. 18.49 lakhs and the 2021 Diavel 1260 S for Rs. 21.49 lakhs (both prices ex-showroom, India).

For model year 2021, Ducati has changed the chassis setup of the bikes for more cornering agility, but, the riding position and ergonomics of the power cruiser remain unchanged.

What has also changed is the weight. Now, the Diavel 1260 is heavier by 5 kg and comes in at 249 kg (wet), while the 1260 S is 2 kg lighter.

Powered by 1262cc L-twin engine that makes 162 HP at 9500 RPM (3 HP more) and 129 Nm at 7500 RPM, the 2021 Diavel 1260 features a 6-speed gearbox, while the S version also features a bi-directional quick shifter.

The BS6 Diavel range is packed with sophisticated electronics that work using a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). The electronics package include Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, Ducati Power Launch (DPL) and cruise control.

Apart from the standard riding modes – Sport, Touring and Urban – there is a ‘Dragster’ mode as well for those razor-sharp launches off the line.

That is not all when it comes to electronics either. The Diavel 1260 has a 3.5-inch TFT screen (with 4 display modes) with a separate warning light module, it is compatible with the Ducati Link App and the Diavel 1260 S gets the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) too.

Sporting a steel trellis frame and aluminium swingarm, the 2021 Diavel 1260 comes with fully adjustable 50 mm front forks and an adjustable monoshock at the rear.

For the premium it commands, the 2021 Diavel 1260 S gets adjustable Ohlins 48 mm front forks and an Ohlins rear shock which is also fully adjustable.
