2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Price Candy Lime Green
The motorcycle’s looks have not changed

India Kawasaki Motors has launched the 2021 Ninja 300 at a price tag of Rs. 3,18,000/- (ex-showroom).

Available in 3 colour schemes, namely – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Ebony, the motorcycle has different graphics now.

However, its aggressive styling remains as is. The dual headlights, full fairing with a sizeable flyscreen, bulbous tank, split seats on the sharp, rising tail give it good presence.

Further, the 2-in-1 exhaust and the analogue-digital instrument cluster are the same, despite the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 price being considerably more than the BS4 model.

Power comes from a 296cc parallel-twin motor that makes a maximum of 39 PS at 11,000 RPM and a peak torque of 26.1 Nm at 10,000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.

While the power and torque (down by a small amount) do come at very high engine revs, the figures would be enough to move the 179 kg bike at serious speed.

The bike comes with an approachable 780 mm seat height, a very decent 17-litre fuel tank, while wider tyres (110-section front and 140-section rear) are also present.

Telescopic forks (37 mm) and a pre-load adjustable gas-charged shock take care of the damping duties, while a 290 mm disc upfront and a 220 mm disc at the rear, both featuring a 2-piston caliper, are present to slow the bike down.

Much like the BS4 model, Kawasaki says, the BS6 Ninja 300 also has good ride quality and comfort, which, I am sure, we will be able to confirm through a proper test ride.
