2021 Lexus LS 500h Nishijin Variant Launched, Priced At Rs. 2.22 Crores
The "regular" variants of the LS 500h are priced from Rs. 1.91 crores (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Luxury carmaker Lexus has launched the 2021 LS 500h Nishijin with an asking price of Rs. 2.22 crores (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
This new variant of the luxury sedan comes as a result of continuous evolution of the car that was launched here back in 2018, says Lexus.
The 2021 Lexus LS 500h Nishijin price gets the interior ornamentation of “Nishijin and Haku”, says the brand, adding that it gets its inspiration from the “path of moonlight on the sea” which is a natural phenomenon that occurs before and after a full moon.
Lexus says the ornamentation is created by intricately weaving silver threads of ‘Nishijin’ brocade to denote waves, while the ‘Haku’ platinum metal foil applique signifies moonlight.
Apart from this rather curious theme, the 2021 Lexus LS 500h Nishijin price will get customers an exquisite interior with high-quality materials used all round.
For the 2021 model year, Lexus has also introduced updates to the LS 500h range. Now, there is a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, while the controls on the steering wheel and centre console have also been revised.
On the outside, the model wears a modified bumper, while a new exterior colour named “Gin-ei Luster”, silver to the layman, is also available.
No other changes have been made to the car and thus it comes powered by a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine that is coupled with 2 electric motors. The combined power output of the hybrid powertrain is 354 HP, while the petrol engine comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Like the normal LS 500h, the Nishijin variant comes with drive modes, EV mode, adaptive suspension, regenerative braking, cruise control, and a whole host of features aimed at providing top notch luxury and safety to passengers.
