2021 Porsche Panamera Price
People who want comfort and speed at all times have always found this car to their liking

Porsche has launched the 2021 Panamera in India with a starting price tag of Rs. 1.45 crores (ex-showroom), today.

Deliveries of the luxury sports saloon that is available in 4 variants, namely – Panamera, GTS, Turbo S and Turbo S E-Hybrid – have commenced as well.

To look at, the Panamera is like a stretched 911, with a short front and long rear overhangs, a long wheelbase, large wheels and a profile that screams Porsche from every angle.

All the updated Panamera models feature the Sport Design front end with larger side cooling openings and a revised light module, while at the rear, the tail light runs across the width of the car.

In addition, the GTS models have darkened tail light clusters, while the Turbo S can be differentiated by larger side air intakes. Inside, the 2021 Porsche Panamera price gets customers a stonking cabin with digital displays, top-notch materials and fit and finish.

Further, the updated Porsche Communication Management (PCM) which includes wireless Apple CarPlay, LED matrix headlights with PDLS Plus, Park Assist with Surround View and head-up display is offered too.

Engine-wise, the “entry-level” rear-wheel-drive Panamera comes powered by a 2.9-litre V6 biturbo unit delivering 330 PS and 450 Nm. The GTS models have extra 20 PS now, making a total of 480 PS and 620 Nm from its 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine.

In the case of the Turbo S, which is also powered by a 4.0-litre biturbo V8, the power figure rises to 630 PS, while the Turbo S E-Hybrid has a combined 700 PS (571 PS from the 4.0-litre engine and a 136 PS from electric motor integrated into the 8-speed PDK).

While the Turbo S can accelerate to 100 km/hr in 3.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 315 km/hr, the Turbo S E-Hybrid while being the most powerful, can also run silently in electric mode for up to 59 km (NEDC) owing to it having a 17.9 kWh battery pack.

Although the 2021 Porsche Panamera price includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) are optional extras.

Moreover, the carmaker has noted that limited number of units of its Panamera 4 10 Years Edition are available at select dealerships while promising more additions to its model range this year.
