2021 Suzuki GSX-250R Side
The new paint scheme lends a bit of freshness to the bike

Suzuki Motorcycle has revealed the 2021 GSX-250R overseas with an updated colour palette and a slight increase in the asking price.

For the 2021 model year, the Japanese motorcycle maker has given its quarter-litre bike a new dual-tone Pearl Glacier White and Pearl Nebular Black colour scheme.

This paint scheme suits the bike well and uplifts the look of the vehicle, while keeping it understated all the same. One other colour option – Black – is also available.

No other changes have been made to the motorcycle in the looks department, which is no bad thing, for it is actually a decent-looking machine.

It is the same with the mechanical bits too. The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 248cc parallel-twin engine that makes a maximum of 24 PS and 22 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Similarly, the suspension setup and braking hardware have been retained and grudgingly, it weighs a not so insignificant 181 kg. It needs to be put on a diet soon.

When it comes to the features on offer, the fully-faired 2021 Suzuki GSX-250R has an LCD instrument cluster, LED DRLs, LED tail light, split seats, clip-on handlebars and ABS for safety.

Priced at $4949 (Rs. 3.65 lakhs) in the USA, the motorcycle is unlikely to come to India for we have the 250cc Gixxers on sale to take care of the premium commuter bike segment, here.
