2021 Tata Safari Alloys
Looks exactly like the Harrier from the front profile

2021 Tata Safari spied in real world conditions for the first time without camouflage. Until now we saw multiple camouflaged test mules and recently the studio shots of the new generation Safari.

The flagship SUV will be positioned above the Harrier and will get a few differentiating elements. The most obvious difference is beyond the C-pillar where it gets some extra room for the third row and a stepped roof design.

The front profile is exactly the same albeit the chrome treatment on the grille. The carmaker should’ve done some sheet metal changes up front to at least incorporate the upright stance of the outgoing Safari.

Nonetheless, the interior will get different colours compared to the Harrier. It will have white upholstery with ash wood trim on the dashboard. More premium features will be offered including electronic parking brake, auto hold function, etc.

The 2021 Tata Safari spied out in the open gives us an idea about the presence of the new SUV which seems to be good.

As we mentioned before and as confirmed by some of the officials, the new generation Safari won’t come with 4-wheel drive. They claim the Land Rover D8 platform is compatible to have a 4×4 system and an electric powertrain. However, 4×4 will not be offered since there are no/very few takers.

The flagship SUV will be powered by the same engine which does duty on the Harrier. It is a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine sourced from Fiat that produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. It will be available with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
