2021 Toyota Fortuner Specs
It will be a sharp-looking SUV for sure

Toyota is said to have unofficially commenced bookings for the Fortuner facelift in India as the firm’s dealers have started accepting bookings for the SUV.

Unveiled earlier this year in Thailand, the facelifted model comes in standard and Legender variants there.

Featuring a redesigned exterior, the Fortuner facelift also sports new LED headlights with DRLs, a new radiator grille and a restyled bumper that also features a skid plate.

Along the sides there are chrome door handles, chrome window garnish, wheel arch cladding, 18-inch wheels, side steps and roof rails, while the rear too is restyled to make the profile look sharp and there are new tail lamps too.

Inside, changes will include an upgraded infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while features like wireless mobile phone charging, automatic climate control, ambient lighting and powered front seats will be offered.

The 2.8-litre diesel engine that will power the car is expected to produce 204 PS of maximum power and a huge 500 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed auto box.

While Toyota Fortuner facelift bookings have commenced, the token amount is not known. However we can surmise that launch of the model will happen soon since the Japanese firm has stopped production of the model on sale at the moment.
