2022 Skoda Octavia and Superb will get new paint options
Skoda Auto India has decided to rollout the model year 2022 (MY22) Octavia and Superb premium sedan with new features and the details have already found their way onto the internet.
For 2022, Skoda has removed the Maple Brown exterior colour that was offered with the 2021 Octavia and has introduced a new Graphite Grey colour.
Other paint choices such as Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Lava Blue and Magic Black continue to be offered and the interior has been left untouched.
However, the 2022 Skoda Octavia will come with anti-theft alarm with interior monitoring as standard from now on. No other changes have been made to the D-segment sedan’s equipment list.
Whereas, the MY22 Skoda Superb will be offered with 2 new colour choices – Brilliant Silver and Graphite Grey – instead of Business Grey and Magnetic Brown shades.
Colours such as Lava Blue, Magic Black, Moon White, Race Blue And Steel Grey continue to be offered, with the latter 2 only available with the SportLine variant.
Also, the Superb will come with Cognac leather interior and massage function for the driver seat in the top-spec Laurin & Klement grade. The base SportLine trim will continue to be offered with Black Alcantara upholstery.
Both cars will sport no mechanical changes for MY22 and they will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor making 190 PS and 320 Nm which is teamed to a 7-speed DSG.
