2022 Volkswagen Polo Facelift Images
Multiple alloy wheel options will be offered with the car

Images of the 2022 Volkswagen Polo facelift have somehow been leaked onto the internet a day before the premium hatchback’s official reveal.

A couple of days ago, the German car giant had announced that it will be unveiling the 2022 Polo facelift through a virtual event on 22nd April (read article here). It had even released a teaser image of the hatchback revealing its updated headlight unit.

However, now, since the 2022 Volkswagen Polo facelift images have been leaked, it is clear as to what exterior and interior revisions the model has been subjected to.

As mentioned earlier, the facelifted Polo will come with a revised headlight cluster that is sleeker than before and it also has new DRLs. Both headlight units would be connected by the new light strips if not for the corporate logo that sits at the middle of the updated radiator grille.

In addition, there is a new front bumper with different fog lamp housings. These changes upfront do lend the car some aesthetic similarities to the eighth-generation Golf.

At the back, the 2022 Volkswagen Polo facelift gets new LED lighting clusters that are elongated, while the model designation has been moved under the brand logo. Also revised is the new bumper that still has the fake exhaust trim.

Inside, Volkswagen has kept the overall layout of the cabin as is. But, it will offer a digital instrument cluster and a touch-based climate control panel now. Also, the car comes with a new steering wheel and the infotainment software should be upgraded too.

When it gets unveiled on Thursday (22nd April), details about the engines, model availability and prices will likely be announced by the brand.
