Range Rover Evoque Autobiography launched in India with added features
Jaguar Land Rover India has updated the Range Rover Evoque lineup with the introduction of the 2025 model year, now available exclusively in the Autobiography trim. Priced at Rs. 69.50 lakhs (ex-showroom) for both petrol and diesel variants, the new top-spec Evoque brings additional features and minor cosmetic changes compared to the outgoing Dynamic SE variant.
The new Evoque Autobiography comes in Rs. 1.6 lakh higher than the previous Dynamic SE, which was priced at Rs. 67.90 lakhs. Despite the price hike, JLR has equipped the Autobiography trim with a host of upgrades, including a sliding panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker 650W Meridian sound system with a subwoofer, and more extensive leather upholstery across the dashboard and doors. Buyers can choose between “Cloud” and “Ebony” Windsor leather seat options. Other highlights include an electronically adjustable steering column and a suedecloth headliner.
On the exterior, subtle updates distinguish the Autobiography from the Dynamic SE. These include copper-finished lettering on the bonnet and tailgate and new Pixel LED headlights featuring signature daytime running lights.
Under the hood, the Evoque continues with the same powertrain options as before. Customers can choose between a 250 HP, 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 365 Nm of torque or a 204 HP, 2.0-litre diesel engine delivering 430 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and feature all-wheel drive as standard. Like earlier, the petrol and diesel versions are priced identically.
Brought into India as a completely knocked down unit, the 2025 Evoque remains competitively positioned in the premium midsize SUV segment. It is priced slightly lower than several of its key rivals, such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60. It is also positioned close to the Audi Q5.
