VLF Mobster India Launch Confirmed, Will Feature Dashcam & Switchable Dual Channel ABS
Motohaus India has confirmed the launch of the VLF Mobster scooter in India. The Mobster will be the brand’s first petrol scooter to be sold in the country. It will feature various innovative features, which can shake the market in a significant manner.
Styling
The VLF Mobster features rugged, sporty and aggressive Italian design language. It is inspired by streetfighter and comprises of aerodynamic lines as well as a muscular stance. VLF shall offer the Mobster in two colour options i.e. Grey and Red.
Features
In terms of features, the VLF Mobster will be the first scooter to be equipped with a live dashcam, providing the riders with a safety net in case of road rage or an accident. Additionally, it will also offer switchable dual-channel ABS, a 5-inch colour TFT display with mobile screen mirroring, a USB charging port and dual disc brakes.
Engine Options
Internationally, the VLF Mobster is available with a 125cc engine or a 180cc engine. The 125cc engine produces 12 HP and 11.7 NM of torque as well as a top speed of 100 Km/hr. The 180cc engine produces 18 HP and 15.7 NM of torque as well as a top speed of 110 Km/hr.
Market Competition
The brand has not mentioned which engine will be launched in India but it has assured that the engine will be liquid-cooled. The VLF Mobster will compete against stiff competition from the Suzuki Access 125, Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155. VLF shall price the Mobster 125 at Rs. 1.4 Lakh.
