Norton Manx And Atlas Models Showcased At The 2025 EICMA – Revival For New Era

At EICMA 2025, Norton Motorcycles marked a stunning resurgence, the culmination of five years of transformation under TVS Motor Company’s ownership. With over £200 million invested in rebuilding the legendary British marque, Norton returned to the global stage with a completely new line-up that blends classic craftsmanship, cutting-edge engineering, and modern luxury.

The reborn Norton showcased four motorcycles, Manx R, Manx, Atlas, and Atlas GT each representing a unique facet of the brand’s philosophy: design, dynamism, and detail. Together, they signalled a bold new chapter for the 127-year-old brand that once dominated racetracks and captured imaginations worldwide.

Norton Manx & Manx R – Superbikes

Leading Norton’s reborn performance line-up is the new Norton Manx, a supernaked masterpiece that distills the brand’s racing spirit into a raw, road-focused form. Designed for riders who want superbike power with everyday usability, the Manx blends aggressive performance with unmistakable British craftsmanship. Sharing its core DNA with the Manx R, this machine features the same 1200cc 72-degree V4 engine, monocoque chassis, and advanced electronics package, but with a more upright and accessible riding position.

The twin-projector LED headlamp framed by a compact DRL signature gives the bike a fierce, modern face, while the stripped-down design exposes its muscular frame and mechanical beauty. Balancing precision engineering and visceral performance, the Manx offers the thrill of a super bike with the freedom of a street fighter motorcycle.

At the heart of Norton’s renaissance stands the Manx R, a breathtaking 1200cc V4 super bike producing 206 BHP and 130 Nm of torque. More than just a successor to the V4SV, the Manx R is a ground-up reinvention leaner, sharper, and engineered for real-world precision as much as for outright performance. However, the name still resonates as the 1950s racing motorcycle from Norton was called the Manx.

Its carbon-fibre bodywork maintains a clean, aerodynamic silhouette, while the underbelly exhaust and sculpted lines pay homage to Norton’s storied racing past. Underneath, a cast aluminium monocoque frame ensures exceptional rigidity and balance, paired with Ohlins semi-active suspension, Brembo Hypure brakes, and Pirelli Supercorsa V4 SP tyres for race-grade dynamics.

Norton Atlas – Middle-Weight Adventure For India

The Norton Atlas marks the brand’s foray into the midsize adventure-touring segment, combining all-terrain capability with unmistakable Norton craftsmanship. Built entirely in India under TVS’s global manufacturing excellence, the Atlas is powered by a 585cc parallel-twin, producing around 70hp, and tuned for a broad, flexible torque spread. With 180mm of wheel travel, cross-spoke 19/17-inch wheels, and Bybre twin front discs, the Atlas blends lightness and control for both urban and off-road exploration. Its steel trellis frame keeps weight around 200–210 kg, promising agile handling and solid touring comfort.

Norton Atlas GT

For those who prefer the open road to the dirt trail, the Atlas GT redefines the touring experience with a more road-oriented setup. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, features a lower 140 mm suspension travel, and offers a seat height of around 810 mm, making it more accessible and comfort-focused. Like the Atlas, the GT comes with advanced electronics, remote preload adjustment, and top-shelf connectivity options ensuring effortless control on long rides. With its sculpted bodywork and signature Norton stance, the Atlas GT merges grand-touring comfort with everyday usability in a distinctly British way.
