Triumph confirms January 2026 price hike while holding prices steady till December
Triumph Motorcycles has confirmed that the current ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles in India will remain unchanged until 31 December 2025. A price revision will come into effect from 1 January 2026, though the company has not specified the extent of the increase.
The announcement follows recent changes to the GST structure for motorcycles above 350cc. While the revised tax norms led to higher costs, Triumph chose to absorb the impact instead of passing it on to customers, particularly for its locally manufactured 400cc models. This decision ensured that buyers were not immediately affected by the regulatory-driven cost escalation.
Alongside this move, Triumph had also rolled out special festive pricing for the Speed 400 and Speed T4. These India-focused offerings have been instrumental in strengthening the brand’s presence in the mid-capacity segment and drawing new riders to Triumph’s portfolio.
According to the company, maintaining existing prices during a phase of policy changes reflects its focus on customer value and price stability. However, with a revision confirmed from the beginning of the new year, prospective buyers considering a Triumph motorcycle purchase beyond December 2025 should be prepared for higher prices across the range.
