Hyundai mHyundai App Charging Station

Hyundai Motor India has announced that its myHyundai app now provides access to more than 30,000 EV charging points across the country. The network has been developed through partnerships with multiple charge point operators (CPOs), allowing EV owners to locate and use charging stations through a single platform.

The company said the charging network is available to electric vehicles across brands and is designed to simplify charging by offering features such as station discovery, route navigation, advance booking and digital payment through the app.

According to Hyundai, charging stations accessible via the platform are available within an average radius of 25 km across India. The network also covers several major highway corridors, including Delhi–Jaipur, Mumbai–Pune–Bengaluru, Mumbai–Goa, Chennai–Bengaluru and Hyderabad–Bengaluru, among others.

Alongside its partner network, Hyundai continues to expand its own charging infrastructure. The company currently operates 183 DC fast-charging stations across 105 cities and plans to increase this number to 600 stations by 2030. These chargers are located at Hyundai dealerships as well as key urban and highway locations.

Hyundai stated that its DC fast chargers offer charging capacities ranging from 60 kW to 240 kW. The company also noted that all Hyundai-owned charging stations are open to electric vehicles from other manufacturers.

The automaker said more than three lakh EV users have utilised its charging infrastructure through the myHyundai app since January 2023. During this period, over 50 lakh kWh of electricity has been delivered through the network. Hyundai estimates that the use of its charging infrastructure has contributed to reducing approximately 3.5 million kg of carbon dioxide emissions.

Looking ahead, Hyundai has also confirmed plans to expand its electric vehicle portfolio in India. The company intends to enter the mass-market EV segment with the launch of a new electric SUV during the current financial year.
