Bajaj has launched a teaser for the upcoming TVC of its cruiser, the Avenger. The new TVC is about the daily rat race and how the cruiser helps you get above it. This TVC indicates Bajaj’s efforts for pumping up the already rising demand for the new Street 150 and 220 and Cruise 220 models.

The Bajaj Avenger was launched in 2005 while it was based on the Kawasaki Eliminator. It was the first ever cruiser bike produced by an Indian company and was powered by a 178.6cc, air-cooled engine which also powered the Pulsar 180, however, it was tuned to produce more torque in the mid-range to suit the cruiser character.

The Bajaj Avenger has received three updates since then and the company has managed to get the cruiser new engines every time, the first one was launched in 2007 when it got a 200cc engine while the year 2010 saw the introduction of a 220cc motor. We got the last update in October last year when the Street 150 and 220 and Cruise 220 were launched.

The new models seem to have cracked the deal for Bajaj as the demand is continuously increasing ever since the launch and initiatives like these are expected to help achieve Bajaj’s goal of leading the 200cc segment in the Indian market which is currently led by the TVS Apache.
