Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 specs leaked showing slightly less power output.

Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon Road Test Review
The power output of the BS6 engine is lower than before

The entry-level Bajaj Pulsar is due for its BS6 conversion ahead of the April deadline of the new norms. The Pulsar 125 specs have been leaked ahead of its launch.

The new BS6 compliant 124.4cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine now produces slightly less power of 11.08 PS at 8500 RPM. There is a mild difference of 0.2 PS which might not make any difference in performance of the bike.

The torque output is likely to remain the same as before 11 Nm at 6500 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

In order to comply with the new emission norms, the Indian bike maker has added a new fuel injection system to the bike, which is likely to improve throttle response and fuel efficiency.

Bajaj Auto has also updated the exhaust assembly with an extra catalytic converter and oxygen sensor to reduce harmful emissions. The bike will be launched soon with a slightly higher price tag.
