Pulsar 220F gains new colours without mechanical changes
Bajaj Auto has updated one of its longest-running models, the Pulsar 220F and is priced at Rs. 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The model receives a cosmetic refresh but remains mechanically unchanged.
The Pulsar 220F continues to rely on its familiar styling silhouette, which has helped the motorcycle stay relevant since its debut in 2007. The latest update introduces two new colour schemes – black with soft gold accents and an orange-and-black combination featuring green highlights. Updated graphics have also been added to give the bike a fresher look.
An addition of dual-channel ABS would have made the 220F one of the most accessible Pulsar models equipped with this safety feature. However, it still continues with the single-channel ABS. Tyre fitments vary depending on production batches, as the motorcycle has been seen running Eurogrip ATT 1150 tyres on some units while others continue to use MRF rubber.
Inside the cockpit, the 220F retains its Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument cluster, similar to other current Pulsar models. However, it still omits a gear position indicator.
Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 220cc air/oil-cooled engine delivering 20.4 HP and 18.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Despite its age and minimal updates over the years, the Pulsar 220F has consistently remained one of the stronger-selling models in the Pulsar family.
The updated Bajaj Pulsar 220F is now available across dealerships at Rs. 1.28 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Buyers can reach out to authorised outlets for stock availability and delivery timelines.
