Triumph launched the Street Triple RS in India earlier this month at a price of Rs. 10.55 lakhs (ex-showroom) and at the sidelines of the launch event, Triumph boss, Vimal Sumbly, revealed some crucial details on the partnership with Bajaj and other future products.

First up, we know you’d want to hear on the Bajaj Triumph tie-up. Well, the British bike maker just revealed that the mid-capacity bike being developed will be an affordable offering. Vimal said “As of now, we have only declared a partnership with Bajaj, I can’t speak beyond a point on that. That is a partnership which will bring a mid-segment of motorcycles within an affordable price range. So, you will have a premium segment of motorcycles at an affordable price point.”

The Bonneville maker has something very exciting in store which will be revealed at the upcoming India Bike Week scheduled next month. So all you Triumph fans, keep a watch. The automaker is currently focused on growing its existing brands, for instance, the Thruxton R. While it is doing well in its segment, it is averaging 30-40 units per year and the company wants it to grow to 100 units.
