Benelli will launch the TNT 25 in India and this quarter-litre bike will compete with other similarly priced rivals from Honda and KTM.
Benelli will be launching the TNT 25 in India by the end of November 2015. The company launched the 600i Golden Limited Edition recently and now they will be adding more products to their lineup. The Benelli TNT 25 is a naked street-fighter bike. The looks quite remind us of the KTM Duke upto an extent. The TNT 25 has a stylish edge to it and it will appeal to the youth of the country. The bike is powered by a single-cylinder, 251.5cc that belts out 25 HP of power and 21 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Benelli TNT 25 has a top speed of 145 km/hr and the bike makes use of a wet clutch. The bike comes with a 280 mm disc brake at the front. The tyre size is 110/70 R17 and 140/60 R17 for the front and rear respectively. The TNT 25 measures 2080 mm in length, 805 mm in width and 1090 mm in height. The wheelbase is 1385 mm while the ground clearance is 130 mm. The bike weighs 150 kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 16.5-litres. The TNT 25 will compete with the likes of the Honda CBR250R and the KTM Duke 200 and 390.
Apart from this, the company will also be launching the Trek Amazonas by the end of the year. This one is a tourer bike and comes with macho looks. The bike is powered by a 1131cc engine churning out 126 HP of power and 112 Nm of torque. The bike comes with a 6-speed transmission and a 22-litres fuel tank. It weighs 205 kgs and has a wheelbase of 1540 mm. Benelli will also be introducing a premium scooter in India by the end of 2015 or early 2016.
