Hyundai Verna is a C-segment sedan manufactured by Hyundai since 1994. The Hyundai Verna is currently in its fourth generation, which is also known as Hyundai Accent in the international markets. The Hyundai Verna comes with two petrol engine options – 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre and two diesel engine options – 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre. Transmission options for the Hyundai Verna in India include 4-speed automatic, 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual. The Hyundai Verna is the only diesel sedan in the C-segment that has automatic transmission option. The Hyundai Verna returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.5 km/l for the diesel version. The Verna comes with a starting price of Rs. 7.40 lakhs.
