After catching the CF Moto 250 NK in India, the Chinese manufacturer’s 650 MT adventure tourer has also been spotted.

Looks like China-based CF Moto is eyeing to establish itself in the affordable spectrum of the fast-growing premium motorcycle segment in India. The 650 MT is seen covered in the same camouflage stickers as the previously spied 250 NK. Hyderabad-based Eider Motors had planned to locally assemble CF Motor products out of CKD kits and distribute them in India, but due to the unfortunate turn of events, it never happened.

The ADV motorcycle is based on the company’s 650 NK naked bike and is already sold in the international market like Australia. The CF Moto 650 MT is powered by a 649cc, parallel twin, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 70 BHP and 62 Nm of torque, with the engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The 649cc motor has a top speed of 170 km/hr and the bike weighs about 213 kgs.

The ground clearance for the CF Moto 650 MT is 170 mm, which is ample for off-roading purposes. The bike comes with USD forks up front and a mono-shock suspension at the rear. It is equipped with full fairing with a tall windscreen, LED DRLs, twin front discs and crash bars as standard. The bike sits on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends.

It is still ambiguous as to which company will get the CF Moto brand to India, but upon the launch of the bike, it will compete with the Kawasaki Versys 650, Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X.
